Comment statuses
Every comment is In Progress, Feedback or Resolved. What each status means, who can change it and where to do it.
Every comment in Drobber has one of three statuses, so everyone can see at a glance what is being worked on, what is waiting on the client and what is done.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| In Progress | Someone is working on it. Every new comment starts here. |
| Feedback | Waiting on the other side to check or reply, usually your client checking a fix. |
| Resolved | Done. |
Lists also talk about Unresolved (or Active in the comment tools on the page): that means anything not yet Resolved, and it is what lists show by default.
Change a status#
- On the site or file: open the comment and press its status pill (Change status).
- On the Board: drag the card into another column.
- On the Comments tab: open the comment and choose a status.
When you write a new comment, you can pick its status in the New comment box before posting, so a note to yourself can go straight to Resolved or Feedback.
Who can change it#
Anyone signed in with access to the project can change a status: your team and your clients. A guest commenting on a project that lets anyone comment is asked to create an account first. Visitors leaving visitor feedback never see statuses.
Statuses that change by themselves#
When Claude fixes a comment for you and marks it fixed, it replies with what changed and moves the comment to Feedback for your client to check. See Fix a comment with Claude. Connected tools that send updates back to Drobber can move comments too; see How integrations work.
Who hears about it#
Changing a status does not send an email by itself. Status changes made by other people appear in the hourly email of comment updates, and are sent to any connected tools. See Emails and notifications.
