When a fixed comment changes again

Drobber watches resolved comments. If the part of the page a comment was about changes or disappears later, it flags it.

Drobber keeps an eye on resolved comments. If the part of the page a comment was about changes again later, or disappears, the comment is flagged Changed since, so you can check nothing has slipped back.

How it works#

After a comment is resolved, the next time someone reviews that page with Drobber, it quietly records how the element looked: its text, key styles and images, plus a picture. On later visits at the same screen size (desktop, tablet or mobile), it compares. If the element is different or gone, the comment is flagged.

This happens in the background a few seconds after the page loads, while your team and clients review as normal. Nobody needs to do anything to start it.

Where you see it#

Flagged comments show a Changed since badge in the comment lists, on the Board and in the comment tools on the page. A resolved pin that has changed stays visible even when resolved pins are hidden. Changes also appear in the hourly email of comment updates.

Check a change#

  1. Open the comment in the dashboard. A note says This has changed since it was resolved, or This has gone from the page, and when it was spotted.
  2. Compare the When resolved and Now pictures.
  3. If the change is fine, press Looks fine. Drobber clears the flag and starts watching again from how it looks now.
  4. If something has slipped back, change the status to reopen the comment.

Storage#

The pictures count towards your storage. If your storage is full, Drobber skips them. See Storage and cloud drives.
