Change the wording of client reminders

Rewrite the deadline nudges and chasers your clients receive, with placeholders for their name, the project and the date.

Drobber’s deadline reminders come with friendly wording, but you can write your own. Your wording is used on every project in your workspace.

  1. Open the menu under your name and choose Account & notifications.
  2. Under Client reminder emails, open the one to change: Before the deadline, On the day, or After the deadline: gentle, friendly or firm.
  3. Edit the subject and message, then press Save.
  4. Press Send me a test to see it in your own inbox, filled in with example details.

Placeholders#

These fill in for each client and project:

PlaceholderFills in with
{first_name}Your client’s first name
{project}The project’s name
{date}The deadline, for example Friday 24 October
{agency}Your studio’s name
{progress}A line about how far they have got: it thanks them for the comments so far, or shows them how to start

A Leave your feedback button always goes underneath your message.

Go back to the original#

Press Reset to the original to bring back Drobber’s wording for that email.

Who can change it#

Anyone on your team can edit the wording. Clients do not see this section. Which emails are sent, and when, is set on each project; see Feedback deadlines and reminders.
