Leaving feedback
How clients and your team leave comments on a website, and what each comment records.
- Leave a commentDrop a pin, highlight some words or draw a box on the page, then add images, @mention people, reply and change the status.
- Guest comments and "Require an account to comment"Let anyone with the review link comment by giving just their name, with no account. Here is what guests can and cannot do.
- What each comment recordsEvery comment records the page, the element, the browser, OS, device and window size. Developer details add console errors and more.
- ScreenshotsAdd a screenshot to a comment with the capture button, by pasting one in or by attaching a file. Drobber never takes one without being asked.
- Suggest text editsHighlight some words and type the new wording right on the page. Drobber saves it as a comment that shows what the words were and should be.
- Comment typesSay what kind of change a comment asks for, from a typo to something broken, and filter the list down to one kind.
- ReactionsReact to any comment or reply with a thumbs up, heart, party popper, laughing face, eyes or a tick, instead of writing a reply.
- Drawing, stickers and other toolsDraw on the page, drop stickers, hide pins, show a layout grid, move the toolbar and follow other reviewers.
- Check tablet and mobile sizesSee your site at tablet (768px) or mobile (390px) width while you review, and tell which comments were left at which size.
- Developer modeFor your team: inspect any element's fonts, spacing and classes, and see the page's console errors while you review.
- Keyboard shortcutsEvery keyboard shortcut for reviewing a website with Drobber: comment, draw, stickers, hide pins, screen sizes and more.
