Refer a friend

Share Drobber and you both get something. Your friend gets a longer free trial, and you get free months once they become a paying customer.

Get your link#

1. Open the menu under your name and choose Refer a friend.
2. Copy your link and send it to whoever you like.

Owners and team members can share the link; clients don't see the page. If the page says referrals are paused, check back later.

What your friend gets#

A 30-day free trial instead of 14 days, as long as they sign up within 90 days of clicking your link.

What you get#

Free months, once your friend has been a paying customer for 30 days. The Refer a friend page shows how many months each friend earns and the most you can earn in any 12 months. A friend who is refunded earns nothing.

Your free months go:

• On a monthly or yearly plan: your next bill moves back.
• On a lifetime licence or AppSumo with extra storage: your next extra storage bill moves back.
• Otherwise: they are kept and used as free time before the first charge of your next monthly or yearly plan, or extra storage. They don't apply to a lifetime licence.

The workspace's first owner gets an email each time a reward is earned.

Follow how it is going#

The page lists each friend who joined, with a status such as "Waiting until they have paid for 30 days", the months they earned and where they went, "Paying, but over the yearly limit" or "Refunded, so no reward".

A small credit at the foot of the comment panel in your review views carries your referral link, so a client who signs up from it counts as your referral too.

Owners can press Hide it on the Refer a friend page (and Show it again to bring it back) on a paid plan, a lifetime licence, or AppSumo Tier 2 and above. It can't be hidden during a free trial or on AppSumo Tier 1.
