Drawing, stickers and other tools
Draw on the page, drop stickers, hide pins, show a layout grid, move the toolbar and follow other reviewers.
The toolbar at the bottom of the screen has more than Add comment. From left to right: the grip for moving it, the settings menu (the sliders), Hide pins, Stickers, Draw and Add comment. Hover over any button to see what it does and its key.
Draw on the page#
- Press Draw on the toolbar, or
D. Drobber captures the part of the page you can see. - Pick a tool and mark up the capture.
- Press Attach. A new comment is pinned where you made your first mark (or in the middle, if you made none), with the drawing attached. Type your comment and press Add.
The drawing tools, each with its own key:

There are 6 colours and three sizes (Thin, Medium, Thick). Undo with Cmd-Z and redo with Shift-Cmd-Z (Ctrl on Windows). Esc or Cancel closes the drawing without saving. Drobber remembers the last drawing tool you used.
The capture button under any comment or reply box opens the same tools, for adding a drawing to a comment you have already started. See Screenshots.
Stickers#
Press Stickers on the toolbar, or S, pick one, then click to stick it on the page. There are 14: Yes!, Love, Wow, Yeah!, Oops!, Nope, OMG, Oh!, Heart eyes, Big grin, Star, Heart, Crown and Wink. To put one back without placing it, press Esc or right-click.
Each sticker shows who left it. Its author and your team can drag it somewhere else or remove it (Peel it off). Stickers need a Drobber account.
Hide pins#
Press the eye on the toolbar (Hide pins), or H, to see the page without comments and stickers in the way. Press it again to bring them back. Hiding pins closes any open comment.
To hide only some pins, open the settings menu and use Show on the page. You can hide pins by status (In Progress, Feedback, Resolved) or by who they are for (Unassigned, For agency, For client). Your choice is remembered in your browser.
Layout grid#
Open the settings menu and choose Show layout grid, or press G, to lay a column grid over the page. It is off to start with, and it is not available on PDFs. The standard grid has 12 columns on desktop, 8 on tablet and 4 on mobile.
Your team can change it from the settings menu with Set up the layout grid: Columns, Gutter, Margin, Max width, Style (Filled or Lines) and Colour. The grid is saved for everyone on the project.
Find comments in the panel#
The side panel lists the comments. Use Search comments to find a word or a person's name, and Filter comments to narrow the list by status, page, who it is assigned to and (where your project has them) type. Clear filters shows everything again. Press P to hide or show the panel, and ] and [ to step through the comments in the list.
Move the toolbar#
Drag the toolbar by its grip, at its left end, to anywhere on the screen. It stays there next time in that browser. Double-click the grip to put it back.
Your pin colour#
Signed in, you can choose your colour from the settings menu, under Your pin colour. There are 7. Faded colours belong to someone else on the project. Changing your colour changes it on all your comments.
Follow someone, or guide a review#
Everyone looking at the same page shows up with a live cursor, and their faces appear as small pictures under the project title. Click someone to go to them and follow them around the site. Scrolling stops following, and Follow again picks it back up.
To walk your client through a review, open the settings menu and choose Guide a review (others follow you). Others are asked whether to follow you, and those who do go to each page you go to, at the same scroll position. Press Stop when you have finished. Guiding needs a Drobber account.
The settings menu also has dark mode and accessibility options. See Dark mode and Accessibility options.
